Golden Gate Bridge to Ft Point and SF Ferry

This tour can be an out and back, or you can choose to go one way and take the ferry from San Francisco back to Sausalito. Either way, the route takes you across the Golden Gate Bridge through San Francisco's historic Fort Point, Chrissy Field, and to the San Francisco Ferry Building, then back through the Presidio and across the Golden Gate to Marin. It takes in the Golden Gate Bridge, Ft. Point, Palace of Fine Arts, the Lucasfilm Campus and Disney Museum along the way. At the Ferry building you have the option to take the Ferry back to Sausalito. Distance: 21 miles (round trip on bikes) • Difficulty: Beginner/Intermediate with the climb up and over the bridge in both directions as the main physical challenge. Should be able to safely navigate a bike in urban settings and around cars and pedestrians.
