Mill Valley Redwood Tour

Mill Valley is a quaint town nestled at the base of Mt Tamalpais and the place that rock stars and hippies escaped to from the sixties. Departing Sausalito, this tour meanders past the houseboats of Sausalito before visiting Mill Valley and its towering redwoods. Winding along Cascade Creek past the homes of said rock stars and mere mortals before ending up back on downtown where you will find lots of good choices for coffee or lunch, notably The Depot in the heart of downtown, Millies Crepe et Creme or Watershed in the Mill Valley Lumberyard, Punjabi Indian Burrito (a local favorite), Joe’s Taco Lounge, Tamalpie for pizza, or the Mill Valley Market for a picnic in the plaza.

Distance: 15 miles (+)  • Difficulty: Light/Beginner + This is an easy ride with only a couple small rises, but is otherwise flat. Should be able to safely navigate a bike in urban settings around traffic.
